Major Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Power Industry Leaders Join General Michael Hayden to Share Insights on Safety, Cybersecurity, and Reliability in Industrial Process Facilities

February 07, 2018

HOUSTON, TX – PAS Global, LLC, the leading solution provider of industrial control system (ICS) cybersecurity, process safety, and asset reliability in the energy, power, and process industries announced new speakers for the PAS OptICS 2018 conference. PAS OptICS provides a forum where leaders in critical infrastructure industries can explore today’s most pressing operations and cybersecurity challenges as well as solutions to address them. PAS OptICS is an essential conference for control engineers, operations managers, plant managers, asset owners, cybersecurity personnel, and executives responsible for safety and operational risk management.

The theme of this year’s conference, “Where OT Security & Safety Intersect,” highlights the conference’s focus on real-world solutions that tackle risk within critical infrastructure. The two-day event, which takes place on April 9-11 in Houston, Texas, will include industry keynote speakers, thought-provoking panel discussions, and technical tracks focused on best practices and case studies for ICS cybersecurity, safety, and operational risk management.

Conference keynote General Michael Hayden, former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the National Security Agency (NSA), will speak on the fluid threat landscape facing critical infrastructure and measures underway to protect industry. As head of the country’s premier intelligence agencies, he was on the front lines of global change, the war on terrorism, and the growing cyber challenge. General Hayden was the country’s first principal deputy director of national intelligence and the highest-ranking military intelligence officer in the country.
