PAS Introduces New Release of Integrity™ 1.4
6/13/2006
The latest release of Integrity™ is even easier to use, presents a simple view of complex connections between control systems, APC and information applications, and PLCs.
Houston, TX - June 13, 2006
PAS today announced the release of Integrity version 1.4, for the documentation, analysis and management of disparate automation assets information and real-time data flow across any process manufacturing facility.
Integrity enables customers to better manage all types of automation assets by auto-extracting complete configuration data from both hardware and software assets into a central database. A rich web-based environment provides users with a consistent view of the configuration details for software & systems of all types from various vendors. In doing so, Integrity both reduces engineering effort for support and maintenance efforts as well as increasing the data integrity for improved decision-making by customer staff at all levels in the manufacturing facility.
"The Integrity software from PAS has proven invaluable in executing the critical steps of verifying point connectivity for data validation. Use of Integrity has also helped us delete and relocate hundreds of data points very efficiently and without mishap. Integrity has made our work process much faster and virtually error-free," said Mike Bryan, Process Automation Technologist, DOW.
The Integrity Suite offers a wide range of functionality for real-time data values, system parameters and configuration settings for virtually any software or system for real-time operation of the plant, including:
usage referencing by any display, application, database or system
data flow mapping between sensors, systems, databases and applications
change tracking of any value or parameter in the real-time infrastructure
automated integrity checks for detection of inter-system mismatches or configuration errors
search engine capability for any value or parameter across the real-time infrastructure
document management capabilities for existing documents and user-entered information
Features new to version 1.4 include:
Generic Overview: for a graphical representation of control systems (eg., Honeywell LCN overview)
Orchestration Manager: to configure and schedule automated imports from different data sources.
View Synchronization. to allow users to find any data point and also see where it physically resides.
Improved Installation: for easy upgrade and expansion of the Integrity Suite.
With version 1.4, PAS announces the release of a number of key interfaces for most major control systems, process & instrumentation databases, advanced control & optimization applications, including the following:
AspenTech's InfoPlus/InfoPlus.21 databases, and DMC+ applications
Bently's Rebis instrumentation database
Emerson's Delta V, RS3 control system and AMS instrumentation
GE's Fanuc programmable logic controllers (PLC's)
Honeywell control systems & PLC's, PHD database and RMPCT control applications
Invensys Fox IA and Triconex PLC's
OSIsoft PI system real-time process historian
Intergraph InTools instrumentation database
Rockwell PLC's
Yamatake DEO
Yokogawa Centum CS and CS3000
"Integrity 1.4 represents a major step forward in simplifying the complex web of inter-connected systems and real-time data flow that exists in plants today," said Eddie Habibi, PAS Founder & CEO. "Customers rightfully follow a 'Best of Breed' approach, yielding a mix of software and systems from various vendors. Our Integrity software product simplifies on-site configurations to present the configurations and connectivity of these disparate systems in a single consistent view to provide an automatically updated mapping of the Real-Time data infrastructure. This helps spot configuration & connectivity mismatches earlier to improve overall data quality and decision-making."The Integrity software is available directly from PAS for use with any automation asset. Honeywell customers are encouraged to contact their local account manager for the Honeywell-specific version of Integrity, marketed under the Automation Change Manager brand.
